Unrepost has no server and no account system. There is nothing to sign up for with us. Your repost list, your removal history and your settings are created on your iPhone and stay there. We cannot see them, because they are never sent anywhere.
To find and fix problems, the app sends crash reports and anonymous usage statistics to Google’s Firebase. They never include your TikTok handle, which videos you reposted or which ones you removed, and they are not linked to your name, email or TikTok account. See Crash reports and usage statistics.
We do not sell or share personal data, we do not use advertising software, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
To list your reposts, the app needs to be signed in as you. It does that by showing you TikTok’s own sign-in page inside an embedded browser window. You type your credentials into TikTok, over an encrypted connection, on a page we do not read.
We never see, receive or store your TikTok password. What results is a standard session cookie, held only in the app’s local website storage on your device — the same way a browser holds one. It is never copied to us or to anyone else. Signing out from the account screen erases it, and so does deleting the app.
The app reads only what your own profile already shows: the reposts on it, their creators, captions and thumbnails. It does not post, follow, message, or read anything private.

Subscriptions are sold by Apple and processed through your App Store account. We never see your payment details.
We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. RevenueCat receives purchase transaction information and a randomly generated identifier for your installation. That identifier is not your name, your email or your TikTok handle, and it is not linked to the contents of your profile. Apple’s handling of your purchase is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
The app uses two parts of Google’s Firebase:
Both are tied only to a random identifier that Firebase creates for this installation of the app. It is not your name, your email, your TikTok handle or the advertising identifier, and deleting the app discards it. Neither includes your TikTok session, your repost list, your removal history or anything else you see in the app. We do not use this information for advertising, and it is not used to track you. Google processes it on our behalf under Google’s privacy policy.
We hold no account or profile data about you. Crash reports and usage statistics are tied only to the random installation identifier described above, and deleting the app starts a new one. If you would like a subscription record, crash reports or usage statistics removed, contact us and we will pass the request to RevenueCat or Google.
Removing a repost is carried out on your TikTok account at your instruction, and TikTok provides no way to undo it. The app keeps a local record of what was removed, including the video link, so that you have one. That record is only on your device.
Unrepost is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
